The ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù will soon launch South Today, an e-newsletter for students and employees to be distributed each Wednesday from the Office of Marketing and Communications. The first edition of South Today will debut on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023.
The goal of South Today is to be a source of insight and information and provide details on essential issues of interest to students, faculty, and staff, such as:
- Feature stories
- Campus updates
- Special University-wide events
- Meet your fellow South colleagues and news from Human Resources
- Meet your fellow Jaguars and news from Student Affairs
- Academic success news
- USA Health news
- Social Media Posts of the Week
- Jaguar Athletics news
Students and employees on all campuses will receive South Today via email each Wednesday. A special edition of South Today will be curated for students. The Daily Digest will continue to be distributed on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
During the academic year, South Today will go on hiatus during the winter, spring and summer breaks.
Story ideas can be submitted each Monday by noon. All dated events will need to be submitted at least one week in advance.
