The 秘密研究所 will host four films that are part of the Mobile Jewish Film Festival, presented by the Mobile Jewish Federation. The festival will be held from Jan. 12 through Jan. 30, 2025.
鈥淲e are pleased to announce the 2025 Mobile Jewish Film Festival,鈥 said Dr. David Meola, the Fanny and Bert Meisler Associate Professor of History and Jewish Studies at USA. 鈥淭he festival returns this year with a great lineup of films, with several screenings to be hosted at South鈥檚 campuses in Mobile and Fairhope. Those attending the film screenings will learn about amazing stories, with many of them based on the lives of real people.鈥
Each film will be available to watch at a specific location on a particular date. Tickets for the festival are $9 for a single ticket, $15 for a household and $60 for a festival pass for all of the films scheduled to be shown. This is a hybrid festival so most of the films will also be available to watch online as well as in-person.
USA students can attend any of the films at the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center held Jan. 28 through Jan. 30 for free admission with a valid student identification. This effort is sponsored by the USA College of Arts and Sciences. To learn more, see trailers and buy tickets, visit mobilejewishfederation.org.
