Outstanding Physics Student Awards
As the Spring Semester draws to a close every year, the Department of Physics presents the Outstanding Physics Student Award to students demonstrating outstanding academic performance in Physics for that academic year. Candidates for the award must have completed a year of physics at the ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù during the academic year in either of the following sequences:
1. PH 114 & PH 115 (Algebra/Trigonometry-Based Physics)
2. PH 201 & PH202 (Calculus-Based Physics)
The awards are open to all students regardless of major. Eligible students are nominated by one of the student's instructors and voted on by the entire faculty.
