New Faculty Resources

Welcome to the ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù! We hope that your experiences as a faculty member here at South will be rewarding and successful.

In order to further assist you in your teaching, the ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù offers faculty development programming through the Innovation in Learning Center (ILC). All new faculty are expected to complete the following:

  • Ten hours of professional development during their first year at USA.
    • At least six of the ten hours should be completed by direct participation in programming offered through the Innovation in Learning Center (ILC). ILC workshops and programs are held throughout the year.
    • Participation in New Faculty Scholars satisfies the six-hour requirement.
  • Completion of .

New full and part-time faculty members should consult extensively with the appropriate department chair or designee concerning specific departmental policies and procedures. We also encourage you to explore the Faculty Handbook.
