The Center for Archaeological Studies at the ÃØÃÜÑо¿Ëù has provided cultural resource services to over 100 corporate, private, and government clients in Alabama and the surrounding region since 1992. The Center's experienced professional staff will be pleased to assist you with archaeological survey, testing, and mitigation. Our Services:
The Center's professional staff meets Secretary of the Interior standards for supervision of archaeological projects, and is experienced in all elements of cultural resource management, including:
- Cultural Resource Assessments
- Phase I intensive surveys (archaeological and architectural)
- Phase II testing and site significance evaluations
- Archaeological Excavation Phase III mitigation (data recovery)
- Compliance with Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 as amended
- Cultural resource management plans
- Preparing cultural resource management sections of Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Assessments
- National Register of Historic Places evaluation
- Viewshed impact studies
- Area of Potential Effect surveys
